      Overview

    Your 4 days in Sri Lanka will not be forgotten with this beautifully planned trip around 3 landscapes. Enjoy the hill stations, Tea draped mountains and end it up with both historic & modern settings of Colombo.

      Itinerary

    Meet and welcome at CMB airport and we board our private vehicle and start driving through the scenic villages to Pinnawela. Arrive in Pinnawela and visit the famous Elephant Orphanage. Spend about 45min to 1hr in Pinnawela enjoying viewing the majestic beasts and see the baby Elephants being fed and later see the herd bath in the nearby stream. Continue driving to Kandy and check-in at hotel by 1400hrs or later.

    In the afternoon drive and visit the beautifully landscaped Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya.

     Later in Kandy city start walking at the busy bazaar area where you can go on bargain shopping for almost anything you desire including lots of local souvenirs. Evening settle down and view the cultural dance show in Kandy. Followed by a visit to the sacred tooth relic temple of Lord Buddha will be amongst the highlights of the day.

    Ending all visits settle back at your hotel to spend time at leisure.

    Overnight in Kandy

    Breakfast at hotel and then check-out and stat driving to the central mountainous region of Nuwara Eliya. The drive will be through scenic tea draped routes with our first stop for the day being to view the beautiful waterfalls in Ramboda.

    Drive further and visit a working Tea plantation for a short stroll and mingle with the workers, sample breaking the tea leaves will be no doubt a unique experience today. A Tea factory visit is followed to witness the ‘plant to cup’ process.

     Later drive to Nuwara Eliya which is dearly called ‘little England’ for its cool climes and Victorian architecture and surroundings. Check-in at your hotel and spend time at leisure. Later start a scenic drive around the Nuwara Eliya town including walks at the popular market and fruit vendors.

    Return to your hotel to spend time at leisure.

    Overnight in Nuwara Eliya

    After breakfast at the hotel proceed to the Colombo

    Breakfast at hotel and then check-out and drive through the scenic Talawakelle-Kotagala-Kitulgala route to Colombo the commercial hub of the country. On the way you have enough and more relaxing time and photo opportunities alongside scenic mountains, waterfalls and local village life and markets.

    Reach Colombo by afternoon time and check-in at hotel to spend some time at leisure. Later start a sightseeing drive around the commercial capital including some stops at popular department stores where you can pick up last minutes gifts to your friends and family. We recommend that you start the tour in the afternoon and enjoy (optional) dinner at one of the many restaurants in Colombo where our driver-guide will be happy to take you before returning to hotel for the night.

     Rest of the evening at leisure.

    Overnight in Colombo

    Breakfast at hotel and then check-in to start driving to airport in time for your return or onward flight. Disembark at CMB airport ending the tour.

    • On request we could also allocate an experienced staff member to accompany groups during tours (Though not essential)
    • English is widely spoken by local driver-guides and Guide lecturers (To arrange other language speaking staff advance notice is required).
