    Itinerary

    Delhi is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. The city hosts some famous historical monuments and is developing with the passing of time.

    The influence of religious diversity can be seen in the city along with the cultural impact of the Mughal, the ancient Indian and the British. There are many beautiful gardens in the city, away from pollution and busy city life that provide opportunities to walk leisurely in the midst of greenery.

    The capital city is divided into two sections popularly known as Purani Dilli or Old Delhi and Nayi Dilli or New Delhi. Old Delhi is popular for its ancient culture and monuments along with its overcrowded gastronomical lanes

    • Day 1: Arrival Delhi (No Meal)

    • Meet / assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Check in at hotel and overnight stay.

    • Day 2: Delhi/Agra (B) (204 kms 3.5 hrs)

    • Breakfast at hotel.

      After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of Delhi. The city where one can experience the influence of the many rulers who ruled this region, a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven times. The guided tour takes you to the monuments that depict the different eras. The tour includes visit to the magnificent Red Fort (Drive Pass), the Jama Masjid - Asia's largest mosque, Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - the "Father of the Nation". Later visit New Delhi to include Lotus Temple also called Bahai's Temple (Closed on all Mondays), Qutab Minar, India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), also pass thru the President's Residence - formerly the Viceroy's Palace, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, - an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture

      After visit drive to Agra, on arrival check in at hotel and overnight stay.

    • Day 3: Agra/Jaipur (B) (236 kms 5-6 hrs)

    • Breakfast at hotel.

      In the morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday). Also visit the Agra Fort containing the halls of private and public audience and other palaces.

      After visit transfer to Jaipur en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. This was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Visit the remarkably well-preserved, graceful buildings within the 'Ghost City' including the Jama Masjid, tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal Palace and other palaces that speak of the grandeur and splendor of the Mughal empire at the height of its power.

      Arrive in Jaipur check in at hotel and overnight stay.

    • Day 4: Jaipur (B)

    • Breakfast at hotel.

      Then proceed for the full day sightseeing visiting Amber Fort. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani fort Palace. A major attraction at Amber is the Elephant Ride all the way up to the Fort entrance. This journey on caparisoned elephants is bound to enrich your memories with the Royal lifestyle of the Maharajas and leave you with a truly unforgettable experience.

      On your way to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Afternoon visit to City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Birla Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

    • Day 5: Jaipur/Delhi (B)

    • Breakfast at hotel.

      Half day free for your shopping in Jaipur and in afternoon transfer back to Delhi.

      On arrival check in at hotel and overnight stay.

    • Day 6: Delhi Departure (B) (room till 1200 hrs)
